I am well satisfied with this app, however I think it needs more variety in the plans, or an online resource to download more plans, *especially* since this is a paid app. Right now, theres a New Testament plan, an Old Testament plan, a full bible plan, and a chronological reading plan, and thats it. They arent broken down to split up the reading, you just read however many consecutive chapters in whatever book youre in, and they go right in order. Id like some epistles mixed in with the gospels, and certainly Romans divided up to be more retainable as I read trough. As it is, I think it should have been free, but I would have paid to upgrade to more reading plans. Ill definitely be holding onto this app in anticipation that it will be getting more plans. More stars to come later.

I like this app, however I think it should offer additional reading plan options. Two in particular, the option of reading the Old Testament Chronologically or the New Testament Chronologically. Currently the only options are: Old Testament (Genesis to Malachi), New Testament (Matthew to Revelation), Chronological (Genesis to Revelation in order of events), or Basic (beginning to end). Additional options choosing specific books of the Bible, for example if I wanted to do a 90 day in depth study of Psalms.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Just the right amount of options. Uncluttered. Couldnt be more pleased.

Easy to use. Easy to understand. Auto-adjusts if you skip a day. Love it. I dont understand what the statistics % is but thats not actually important.

I took a chance that the reading plan Im using (5 day bible reading program) would be available. The UI design is great, which is important to me if Im going to use this app consistently for a year. Kudos to the developer on the design! Unfortunately this app has just three reading plans at this point. Not a fit for me at this point, but would certainly come back if more reading plans were added.

This app is definitely worth $1! I love that you can adjust the time frame while I learn to be consistent. Many great things about the app! The only thing I wish it had was more plans & the ability to take the app onto a new phone so you dont have to check every box when your at the end of the Bible. Great app though! And Ill continue to use it with hopes it will make some improvements!

I love that I can keep track of my reading progress. I would really enjoy seeing more reading plan options or even a create your own reading plan option and a like to esv study bible app. Thank you and keep up the hard work!

I was using a freebie app but saw how beautiful this one looked & decided to make the buy. I initially misunderstood how to use but a tweet to developer got shockingly prompt assistance. Dev cares for this app & it shows. Im looking forward to more reading plans, maybe even a book by book option so if I want to just read Job I can keep track with reminders.

I really like the look of this app and the ability to check off different chapters as I read them. My only "knock" is that this app does not have enough read through plan options.

Since I saw the beautiful interface of this app, I decided to buy it. I am really glad I did so, since it has proved to be much better than many apps I used before. Great job linking this app to You Version and to other Bible apps! However, this app could be much more useful with some simple additions. It would be very useful being able to create an account which could be linked to other devices. I found myself sometimes using the iPhone or the iPad and sometimes it takes me some time to figure out where I left off on the other device. This ability would make this already beautiful app a five stars one. Additionally, although I figured out how this app works with the calendar, I see how some users can be confused a little bit at the beginning trying to understand which day is the next on the reading plan (the shaded box and the one with the clock got me confused the first few days). I dont know how the developers can make this more obvious to see, but its not really a big deal. Overall, the app is very well made, and it serves its purpose. Great job, guys!

I Love this app. It gives me motivation to stick with it. It’s easy to use. Easy to understand and keeps me on track. The ONLY thing I would change is a add in. I’d like to create my own bible study plan. For instance what if one year I want to focus on only the minor prophets or how about just psalms and proverbs. What if I want to read the gospels and Isaiah not the whole New Testament. It would be nice to be able to create my own plan.

Very easy to use I like that it has the user read one chapter at a time. It also lets the user know if he accumulated days off from reading if he reads ahead.

I have tried to use this app, but to no avail. I emailed the creators for help, but no one responded to my questions. Very poor service in my case.

The idea behind this app is great! But the execution seems pretty poor and disappointing especially for a paid app. I expected that if I selected a plan/due date that meant reading 7 chapters per day, that if I missed a day, it would show 14 chapters need to be read the next day to stay on track. But it doesn’t do anything like that. Then the “statistics” page literally shows nothing but a calendar without any significant information and a % complete that doesn’t appear to be working (stuck at 0.0%).

This app is confusing. There are no directions. This is not worth buying. I reccomend an app called 'yearly' to read the Bible in a year.

I love this App it’s help me keep reading everyday..send me notifications when I suppose to Read. And I don’t feel like give up because I don’t read that day. Because this keep this to the next day. You can start 2 plan in the same time etc.. Thanks! Just wish have more options for different plans 😇🙌🏻😊

Please add a plan that lets you choose which books you want to read! Or a plan to do a single book at a time (like psalms or proverbs). Basically the existing plans are ot, nt, whole bible, or hypothetical chronological reading. The cool thing about the app is you can sort of create your own plan, but you need to open several plans at once to do it. Also it won't link to any app other than youversion (ie logos or accordance)

I love this app, it’s exactly what I was looking for. The only suggestion I would make is the ability to see my plan mapped out long term, like not just what I have to read today, but a way to see what I will be reading a week from now, a month from now, etc., like on a calendar of sorts. Otherwise it’s perfect- simple design, simple to use.

I use this app everyday for my own reading plans for both the Old and New Testaments and it is great. The app is easy to use and most of all it is very flexible. Another feature that I like is that I am able, at a quick glance, to see the progress I have made, which encourages me to continue my daily readings. Bottom line is, if all you’re looking for is simplicity and flexibility in creating and managing your Bible reading plans, this is the go-to app for you.

Bible Box lets you pick chronological or canonical reading and assign the date of completion. If you get behind on scheduled readings, the app will take that into account for further scheduled readings; when I was woefully behind, it still had me on track to finish on time, just reading a little more per day. The flip is also true. I read Proverbs with our kids at breakfast, and read and studied Nehemiah with friends. When I added that data, it shifted that into past readings and slightly shortened the daily reading requirements. There is also a “read” option in the upper right-hand corner, which takes you out to the exact passage in youBible. I know some prefer a paper copy to mark up, and that’s tremendous; I have to say it’s made things so much more manageable with keeping up with the chronological schedule! Small thing. If you love gold stars like I do ☺️, you can easily see your progress. Drop-down menu on the left, select “plans”; it will tell you the percent of reading you have completed. You do not need an app to read your Bible; I completed my goal before without using it. But this has taken all the brains and energy out of keeping up with data. It’s a pretty cheap and easy way to make a tremendous goal a little more doable.

The Bible Box app does exactly what I needed. I wanted to finish reading through my Bible by a certain date. But some days I don't have as much time to read as others. This app automatically adjusts the chapters for each day so that I know exactly how much I need to read to reach my target date. I don't feel like giving up when I get behind now because I see that I only have to read one chapter more to still finish by that date and if I read extra chapters in a day I will have less to read to finish by that date. Excellent app glad I spent the $1 for it.

Maybe this isn't what others are looking for, but I've found exactly what I needed. Worth every penny.

Many, with the best intentions, try to read the Bible by starting with Genesis and grinding through to Revelation, whether or not things make sense. The Bible is not printed chronologically. Confusing and off-putting. Bible Box sets up readings in the order they happened, making reading intelligible. Far from detracting from the beauty and message, these are enhanced by making sense!

디자인 하나보고 구입했습니다. 너무 직관적이고 이쁩니다. 써보니 꼭 추가됐으면 하는 기능이 있습니다. 성경링크 - youversion은 아이폰에 없지 않나요? 왜 성경링크에 항목이 있는지 모르겠습니다. 성경 어플 pocketsword과 링크가 가능하다면 부탁드립니다. 클라우드 - 아이패드와 함께 사용하는데 싱크기능이 요구됩니다. 또 한가지 불편한 것은, 성경을 순서대로 읽지 않는데, 손가락으로 스크롤하는 것 외에 직관적으로 책을 선택하는 방법이 있었으면 합니다.
